Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Luis Edgar da Silva Cardoso ("PickandSeek", "we", "us") handles personal information when you browse PickandSeek, request a price alert, contact us, or follow a link to a third-party merchant. It must be reviewed with the publisher's final identity, address, domain and vendors before public launch.
Advertising, optional analytics and outbound alert email are disabled until their providers and consent controls are configured. We do not intentionally sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising in this pre-launch state.
Information we collect
- Request and security data: IP-related logs, device/browser data, timestamps, pages requested and security signals processed by the hosting and CDN layer.
- Alert request data: email address, selected product/configuration, price target, region, consent timestamp and consent-version record.
- Contact data: the information you voluntarily include when reporting a correction, privacy request or business enquiry.
- Market and technical data: product specifications and permitted commercial data. This is not intended to identify an individual consumer.
Why we use information
We use it to operate and secure the site, prevent misuse, answer requests, maintain alert preferences, comply with applicable obligations, and improve data quality. Where required, our basis may be performance of a requested service, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, legal obligations, or your consent. We do not use an alert email for unrelated marketing unless you separately opt in.
Who receives information
Information may be processed by hosting/CDN, database, email-delivery, analytics, consent-management and support providers only where they are enabled and needed. Merchant and marketplace sites receive information under their own policies once you leave PickandSeek. We will publish material vendor changes in this notice and in the Cookies & Privacy Choices page.
Retention
We keep technical logs for a limited security and operations period, contact correspondence for as long as needed to resolve it, and alert data until it is confirmed, cancelled, deleted, or no longer needed for the service. Market data is retained only within the rights and retention period agreed with its source. Exact periods will be added when each provider is configured.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. You may also have choices about certain advertising or sharing. Send requests to support@pickandseek.com. We may need to verify a request and will not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Before enabling a provider, we will assess its data-transfer safeguards and update this notice where required.
Children
PickandSeek is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information if you are below the minimum age required in your jurisdiction without appropriate parental involvement.
Security and changes
No online system is perfectly secure, but we use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service. We may update this notice when the service or law changes; the effective date above identifies the latest revision.
